We’ve delivered hundreds of weddings at some of the UK’s most beautiful venues, working alongside leading planners and suppliers in fast-paced, high-pressure environments where timing and precision are everything. Whether we’re installing a suspended floral installation, working within tight venue access times or adapting to unexpected changes, we remain calm, organised and solution-focused. If a challenge arises, we’ll quietly resolve it—often before anyone else even knows it happened.
Behind every wedding is meticulous planning. From production schedules and logistics to installation, repurposing and collection, every detail is carefully considered to ensure your day flows effortlessly and your flowers look their absolute best from the first guest’s arrival to the final dance.
Our pricing reflects far more than the flowers themselves. It reflects years of experience, professional project management, expert craftsmanship and a dedicated team committed to delivering an exceptional experience. We believe your wedding deserves more than beautiful flowers—it deserves complete confidence that everything is in safe hands.
Because when you book Dear Luna Florals, you’re not simply booking a florist. You’re investing in experience, trust and complete peace of mind.
-
Absolutely. Once you’ve secured your wedding date with Dear Luna Florals, you’ll receive a comprehensive bespoke floral proposal at no additional cost.
Unlike a standard quotation, our proposals are thoughtfully designed to help you truly visualise your wedding. Created personally by Lynsey, they include venue-specific CGI visuals, inspirational imagery, colour palettes, suggested flower varieties, detailed design concepts and styling notes, allowing you to see how every floral element will come together on your day.
Our design process is simple and collaborative:
Initial enquiry
Availability confirmed, followed by a relaxed consultation to get to know you, your style and your vision.
An initial concept proposal (a basic version of our full proposals to ensure we get your vibe and align) with pricing is sent, and your wedding date is held for five days.
Your booking is secured with a 20% non-refundable retainer.
Around 6–12 months before your wedding (or sooner if preferred), we’ll arrange a venue visit and begin developing your full floral proposal and bespoke designs.
From the moment you book, we’re here to support you. Whether your ideas evolve, your guest numbers change or you’d simply like to explore different options, we’re always happy to refine your proposal. We never charge for design revisions because we believe your wedding flowers should feel exactly right.
At Dear Luna, we don’t just provide a Invoice. we create a bespoke floral experience, giving you the confidence to see exactly how your wedding will look long before the big day.
-
Yes. Our minimum investment for wedding florals is £2500.
This increases to £3000 on public holidays and significant dates both in the UK and the Netherlands. This is due to significant rises in costs past on to us by our wholesalers and staffing.
This allows us to dedicate the time, creativity and attention to detail that every Dear Luna wedding deserves. From the initial design concepts through to sourcing premium blooms, installation, repurposing and collection, every wedding is thoughtfully planned and executed with care.
If your floral requirements are smaller than our minimum spend, we’d still love to hear from you! It may be we aren’t fully booked that week and can help.
-
No—and that’s completely intentional.
Every Dear Luna wedding is designed entirely around you, so we don’t believe a fixed price list accurately reflects the true cost of your wedding flowers.
The investment for each design depends on a wide range of factors, including flower varieties, seasonality, flower content, mechanics, installation requirements, venue logistics and the overall style you’re looking to achieve. Two centrepieces may appear similar in size but vary significantly in cost depending on the flowers and techniques used.
Many florist price lists only provide a starting price for the floral arrangement itself and don’t always include elements such as delivery, installation, on-site styling, repurposing, collection or the additional time and expertise required to execute your wedding. This can make it difficult to understand the true overall investment from the outset.
We prefer to be completely transparent. After learning about your venue, style and ideal investment, we’ll create a bespoke proposal tailored specifically to your wedding, so you’ll receive an accurate quotation with no hidden surprises.
If you’d simply like a rough idea before arranging a consultation, we’re always happy to provide an estimated investment based on your plans. Just send us as much information as possible, and we’ll happily point you in the right direction.
-
Send us an enquiry, we will confirm availability and chat with you about your requirements and costings. To secure us we require a 20% retainer fee.
If you already know we’re the florist for you then you can pay your retainer based on the minimum fee to secure us and then receive a formal quotation after.
-
We work with clients who know exactly what they want and clients who give us a budget and a few reference images and we design the whole thing! We will always work together with our clients to help your vision become a reality.
-
Flowers are seasonal and as such there is periods when certain flowers are unavailable. This being said, due to our experience, we have many wonderful contacts with growers who do their best to secure the florals we need or a suitable alternative.
Many of our couples choose “florist choice” for the majority of their floral choices. This means we can create freely to your colour Pallette, aesthetic and overall look and substitute for florals we believe achieve the same desired look when others are out of season.
-
Our bookings usually open 12-18 months prior to your wedding date. However due demand many key dates do get booked earlier so please always enquire as soon as you have booked your venue and we will let you know if we can take your booking.
-
No. Dear Luna Florals works exclusively on every wedding we undertake.
This means we don’t combine our floral designs with DIY flowers, supermarket flowers, flowers from another florist or artificial flowers.
Every design is created as one cohesive collection, carefully considering colour, flower varieties, scale and quality. Mixing floral sources makes it impossible for us to guarantee the finished look or uphold the standard of work that Dear Luna is known for.
If you’re looking to maximise your budget, we’re always happy to suggest where your floral investment will have the greatest impact and can create a bespoke proposal to suit your priorities.
-
Absolutely, where possible, we always encourage repurposing your flowers to maximise both their impact and your investment.
Many ceremony arrangements can be carefully relocated to your reception, whether that’s moving meadows to the top table, repositioning plinth arrangements, or restyling designs around your venue. This allows your flowers to be enjoyed for longer while creating a completely different look for each part of your day.
Some floral installations, however, are designed to remain in place. This may be due to their size, mechanics, structural integrity or the way they have been installed, meaning they cannot be safely moved without compromising the design.
For weddings where repurposing is possible, we offer a Stay On Site service. Members of the Dear Luna team will remain on site to carefully relocate and restyle your flowers at the appropriate time, ensuring every arrangement looks just as beautiful in its new setting. This service is quoted individually, as the cost varies depending on the number of arrangements, timings and logistics involved.
During the design process, we’ll always advise which arrangements can be repurposed and where your floral investment will have the greatest impact throughout your day.
Please note - this is a service that is dependant on logistics. Sometimes arrangements are not at their peak after an outdoor ceremony in extreme heat or wind. We will never repurpose florals we believe will not withstand moving again. Flowers are fresh living material and delicate to nature.
-
Styling is an important part of the overall design, and we’ll always advise on the pieces that will best complement your flowers, venue and overall aesthetic.
Rather than holding a large hire collection ourselves, we work closely with our trusted styling supplier, Array Wedding & Events, who offer an extensive range of premium candles, glassware, plinths, lanterns, furniture and styling accessories.
If you wish, as part of your floral proposal, we’ll thoughtfully curate a styling wishlist to complement your floral designs and bring your vision to life. Should you wish to proceed, your hire order will be arranged directly with Array Wedding & Events, who will professionally deliver, style, clean and collect all of their hire items. We charge an additional fee for the organisation of your hire items and full styling.
Working in partnership with Array allows us to offer a far greater choice of luxury styling pieces than we could provide alone, ensuring every wedding feels completely bespoke.
If you choose to supply your own candles or styling items, these will need to be set up by yourselves, your venue, planner or stylist. The Dear Luna team specialises exclusively in the installation and styling of our floral designs, allowing us to focus on delivering every floral element to the highest possible standard.
-
Yes. All Dear Luna weddings include professional installation, as we believe your flowers deserve to be styled exactly as they were designed. Due to the delicate nature of fresh flowers and the complexity of many of our designs, we don’t offer a collection-only option.
Your installation and set up fee is tailored to your wedding and is based on factors such as the size of your floral designs, venue logistics, access times and the number of team members required to ensure everything is installed safely and beautifully.
Collection the following day is optional for most weddings unless your booking includes larger installations, such as floral arches, suspended designs or ceiling installations, which must be professionally dismantled for safety reasons. If you don’t wish for us to collect this needs to be confirmed with your venue and any hire items such as bud vases which belong to Dear Luna Florals must be returned within 2 days to our Aldeby Studio.
Once your celebration has come to an end, your flowers are yours to enjoy. You’re welcome to take them home, gift them to family and friends or leave them for your guests to enjoy.
Alternatively, we offer our removal service. With your permission, we’ll carefully remove your flowers the following morning and donate them to local care homes, charities or community organisations, allowing them to bring joy to others after your wedding day has finished.
-
Our payment schedule is designed to make budgeting for your wedding as straightforward and manageable as possible.
A 20% non-refundable retainer secures your wedding date and allows us to begin planning your floral designs. A further 20% is due six months before your wedding, with the remaining balance payable 1–2 months before your wedding date (please refer to our Terms & Conditions for the exact timeframe applicable to your booking).
By spreading payments throughout your planning journey, we help reduce the pressure of one large final payment while ensuring we can secure premium flowers, specialist products and begin detailed planning well in advance.
By the time your final balance is due, much of the behind-the-scenes work has already taken place—from sourcing premium blooms and creating bespoke designs to scheduling logistics and preparing for your installation. This allows us to dedicate our full attention to delivering a seamless and beautifully executed wedding day.
We are always flexible with these payments and understand sometimes they may not be possible. Please communicate with us and we are happy to help.
